When it is known that the project construction party needs to send a new ship into the site for the overhaul of the original construction ship , Maritime Safety Administration staff worked overtime and immediately went through the construction procedures for new ships entering the site for the project, shortening the required 15 working days to eight days, and gained valuable time for the early resumption of the project.

The project is scheduled to be completed before the end of the year. According to reports, the 250,000-ton-class channel that started construction in May 2018 has a total length of 31.7 kilometers and a navigable width of 270 meters. After the completion of the project, the Jingtang Port area can realize 200,000-ton-class bulk carriers entering and exiting the port 24/7. Bulk carriers enter and leave the port by tide.
